When writing your book, step back, regroup, refocus...before continuing. Grammar, punctuation, and tone can get lost or missed, due to you reading the same paragraphs too many times. Here are three simple rules to follow once you have completed a chapter: 1) Review each chapter after completing it, 2) Run it through an audio reviewer to hear how it sounds, and 3) Ask someone you trust to proof it for you.

Continuously looking at the same lines or paragraphs can lead to insanity and details can easily be overlooked. A good story can quickly become tainted or lose its focus if the details are overlooked. A little extra work now, can save you a lot of work later and help to avoid some unnecessary embarrassment.
